We are pleased to announce that we have been able to recruit Mr. M.Sc. Jörn Frasch as our new Managing Director with effect from March 1st, 2023. He will take over the tasks of Jörg Rönnert, who will leave us at the end of March to pursue other challenges.
During his studies of mechatronics at the Technical University of Ilmenau, Jörn Frasch was already active in the company for the preparation of his bachelor thesis as well as a student trainee. Since May 2017, Mr. Frasch has been a permanent team member and is responsible for the development of customer-specific mechatronic drive systems and sensorless condition monitoring of magnetic actuators.
After more than 10 years of successful management in our company, Jörg Rönnert will retire from Ilmenauer Mechatronik as of April 1st, 2023. In connection with the change of management, the company will be taken over in full by the previous main shareholder, Jenaer Antriebstechnik GmbH.
As part of the ongoing strategic development of our company, we will expand our portfolio beyond the design and prototyping of customer-specific mechatronic drive systems to the production of customer specific small series. We will therefore continue to be your professional partner for the development of innovative drive systems as well as magnetic measurement technology around the MagHyst® measurement and test system.
